In Vancouver? Where?!

That is crazy! I've tried to make designs, but nothing that intricate.
I saw a story on a competition between baristas with similar photos. Very attractive but I want my coffee to taste great not necessarily decorated!

waaaaaa..lovely...its remind me about korean series which entitle "Coffe Prince"..lovely...
It didn't say. It was just one of those e-mails that gets passed around. (???)
Makes ya wonder how much a cup of that costs...lol!
This looks both to me, but I bet I couldn't afford a cup very often! I can barely afford a Starbucks.
I'm kinda wondering about the origination of these. In pohot coffee8 there's a wrapper on the table in a language I don't recognize. Maybe Greek? But then I've been to Greektown in Toronto, so that doesn't necessarily mean anything, I guess.
I hate Starbucks!! (I don't like the taste and I don't like the philosophy). I will walk extra blocks to find an independent coffee shop! At work we have Starbucks & I take my own coffee to avoid it. I agree that coffee is ridiculously expensive for what you get.

I was dismayed to find Starbucks extending its "evil" arm into Australia a couple of years ago and last year when we were in China they were there too....... !!!
LOL. I don't think they have anything special myself, but an awful lot of people just "have to have" it. Makes me wonder what they drank when it was just good ol' Maxwell House.

LOVE number 11! Will join 'hate Starbucks' club for free!
And they proably charge and extra $3 for a cup....

I linked to this post in my blog and got a comment from a friend who is in Vancouver.
"Although there are great examples of coffee art in Vancouver, especially at Caffe Artigiano, however I think those are examples of the work of Sammy Lin in New York City. Here"
Thank you for this! It was a fun article to read. From the pictures I'd say your friend is correct about these being Sammy Lin's coffees. :-)
I sincerely doubt these are from the same place- there are many different styles of cups, some with different logos, there are only two cups pictured on the same table...

But they are all AWESOME!
Very cool! I love it!

Yes, I've seen this before, isn't it amazing?!! Here's a link to a youtube video showing it being done:

Wow. Seriously? Wow. I've never even bought a coffee "out" -- it's a world I have no experience with. But those are amazing.....

This is where the coffee art is created in Vancouver BC:

Oh thank you for sharing that! It looks like a place I would revisit given the opportunity. I love scones, and the prices of the scones and coffee didn't seem unreasonable at all. I also like the visual atmosphere of that place. :-)
